Our Department

There are two options if you are visiting from New York City.  You can take a NJ Transit train from NY Penn Station to Newark Penn station.  Alternatively, you can also take the PATH train to Newark Penn Station from the 33rd, 23rd, 14th, 9th, or Christopher Street stops (switching to Newark train at Journal Square).     From Newark Penn station, make your way to the Newark Light rail, the city subway system, and validate your downtown ticket before getting on the train.  Take it two stops to Washington Street, exit the station, and take a right on to Washington Street (towards the soccer field). After one block, take a left on Warren Street.  Smith Hall is located on the right side of the street prior to the intersection with Martin Luther King Boulevard.
